A version with the 'skeletal' tripod foot (as per the design representation) was shown in the 1936 catalogue, but difficulty removing the vase from the mould resulted in a 'new' version with a solid disc base beneath the foot for extra support (as shown here), and this appeared in the 1937 catalogue but with the same pattern number and name.
