Davidson pattern no. 279 D Vase
Davidson pattern no. 279 D vase, as shown in their 1931 catalogue.

Known cloud colours: Amber, Blue, Purple, Green, Orange, Red "ORA"
Sizes: 6, 8 and 10 inches
Date Range: 1928 to 1942
Commonly known as the "Column Vase", this came in three sizes and two styles. The "D" style has a turned over rim and was matt on the outside and polished in the inside. The side of the vase is divided into 9 segments which give it a column like appearance. A matt version of the 279 was also produced.
The 8 inch size was the most popular. Production of the 6 and 10 inch versions in Cloud Glass stopped in about 1938.
