Davidson 695 platter - green uranium pressed glass

No makers marks. 280mm diameter. Uranium 'glow' much more intense than in photo. RD 695113 allocated 8 June 1923, and known as 695 pattern. (A modified version of the design was registered in 1928 and became the 737 range). This example of a fruit dish in the 695 pattern is a rare example of Uranium glass. Davidson made very little glassware in uranium as it was a very expense formula. Uranium glass production seems to be limited to the mid to late 1920s.
