Davidson pattern no. 737 plate in amber glass; 10 inches diameter. Marked with RD no. 737904 (registered 5 June 1928).

This design is very similar to Davidson’s 695 range.

The submitted design had the following description: "The novelty lies in the pattern of configuration of the base of the dish as shown encircled in red in the representation. The registration of this design should not interfere with the use by any person of the design of prior date No 695113 when copyright in that design has ceased".

Davidson are saying that the difference between this design and the 695 pattern is the design in the base of the article.
