A rare mould-blown clear glass decanter by Edward Moore, Tyne Flint Glass Works, South shields. The stopper is decorated in the same pattern as the decanter body.
The base bears the embossed date registry lozenge for 29 June 1861 Parcel 4, corresponding to RD number 141642. (The lozenge is so embossed as to be correctly read from the inside of the decanter, so I attach a photo of the base with the image reversed making the lozenge easier to read).

Jenny Thompson describes the design registration as for pattern.
