A clear pressed glass elliptical dish bearing registered design number 64088 (registered to Scotney & Earnshaw, London on 22 December 1886). 6.25 x 4 x 1.5 inches.

Scotney and Earnshaw were listed in the ‘Pottery Gazette Diary’ under “Agents for Foreign Manufacturers” from 1884 to 1901, and specialised in the wholesale distribution of ‘American Tumblers’.
RD 64088 is known as the “Daisy and Diamond Pattern”. Scotney and Earnshaw were not manufacturers… there seems to be a link between them and Hobbs, Brockunier & Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, who seem to have made articles in this pattern for export.
