Davidson pattern no. 137 or no. 138 basket
Davidson oattern no. 137 (or possibly no. 138) basket.

Photo copyright Michael Upjohn.

Of the shapes with this 'fern and stipple' decoration, there is no basket in the design shown specifically in the 1880-1890 catalogues.

The celery vase is definitely shown as 137.

The sugar & creamer appear as '137 & 138 (two sizes)'. Whether that means that the creamer is 137 and the sugar 138 (and there are 2 sizes of each) OR that the smaller size of sugar AND creamer are both 137, OR that the larger size of sugar and creamer are both 138 - I'm not sure.

The same applies to the butter, which also appears as '137 & 138 (two sizes).

The spill vase seems to pattern 138. It's not shown specifically in the 1880-1890 catalogues, but is labelled as '138' on page 20 of 'Davidson Glass - a history' by Chris and Val Stewart.
