Davidson pattern no. 741 vase , ripple'
Davidson pattern no. 741 vase, ‘ripple’, in topaz briar cloud glass.

Known colours: Amber, Emerald, Smoke, Flint
Known cloud colours: Amber, Topaz-Briar
Sizes: 5, 7, 9 and 11 inches
Date Range: 1939 to 1965
The ‘ripple’ pattern was registered in 1939 (RD 833445, 14 February 1939; Australian RD 19221). It was not made in any Cloud Colours other than Amber and Topaz-Briar which was introduced in 1957. The vase came with a wheel flower support.
This is probably W J G Fullerton's most well known design. Fullerton was Davidson's only professional designer and was with the company from 1938 until 1947.
