Royal Doulton / Webb Corbett ‘Georgian’ Sherry Glasses
Two Royal Doulton cut crystal sherry glasses in their ‘GEORGIAN’ pattern. (The pattern consists of cut fans and criss-crosses over oval ‘thumbprints’; the stem is shaped, but uncut). Manufacturer’s mark on base underneath stem. The glasses stand 11.2cm tall, with a bowl rim diameter of 5.7cm. This pattern was originally made by Webb Corbett Ltd, and continued to be made unchanged under the Royal Doulton label after their acquisition of Webb Corbett Ltd In 1969.
